Christmas is quickly approaching and I have received many emails and calls with a " Dear Santa" tone. Massages and gift baskets are always a nice way to give your loved ones something they might not get for themselves. No matter where you live, I am sure a spa is nearby. Facials, mani-pedi, massage, bodywraps..... all make wonderful gifts. There are many wellness packages you can purchase that include a day of indulgence or a series of treatments that will last throughout the year. I have a gentleman that calls every year to buy his wife a package of massages she will use over the next 12 months. It is a wonderful and loving reminder every month when she makes her appointment. Most businesses will give you a discount if you are purchasing many massages in a series.
Some people prefer hand made gifts. Jewelry, soaps, aprons, clothing..... there are so many to chose from! A great place to start is Etsy. It is full of handmade and crafted gifts that are unique and meaningful. Of course my friends and family usually receive wellness products from my shop, but this year I also found many great items from local artisans, and craft fairs.
This year, no matter what you give, make sure you keep you eye out for that something special you know they will appreciate. A gift that can be used or seen all year long to remind them of how wonderful you think they are!
